Mrs. Marie Hall Streif
DYERSVILLE, Iowa -- Mrs. Marie Hall Streif, 57, of 1505 First Ave. E died at 3:30 pm Thursday at University Hospitals, Iowa City, Iowa.
Her first husband, James Hall, died Sept. 16, 1964, and her second husband, Charles Streif, died June 24, 1966.
Services will be at 10:30 am Tuesday at the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier here with burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery at Epworth, Iowa. Friends may call after 7 pm Sunday at the Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville, where the American Legion Auxiliary rosary will be said at 4 pm Monday and the Scripture Wake Service will be held at 8 pm Monday.
Mrs. Streif was the former owner and operator of the AMVETS Supper Club at Centrailia for eight years, and had been cook for the priests at St. Francis Rectory for the past two years. She was a member of the New Vienna VFW Auxiliary and the Dyersville American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Loras (Patty) Vaske of Nashville, Tenn., and Mrs. Ed "Mike" (Jacci) Ament of Dyersville; three grandchildren; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Charles Feldmann of Worthington, Iowa; nine brothers, Francis and Lawrence Feldmann of Hopkinton, Iowa, Carl, Thomas, Leo and Delmar Feldmann, all of Worthington, Ray Feldmann of Peosta, Iowa, Andrew Feldmann of Farley, Iowa, and Leonard Feldmann of Darlington, Wis.; and two sisters, Mrs. Aloysius (Lucille) Vonderhaar of Luxemburg, Iowa, and Mrs. Charles (Rita) Meyer of Holy Cross, Iowa.
A memorial fund has been established.
