He was born Feb. 22, 1889, at Arcola, Ill. A retired farmer, he had been a resident of des Moines and Lee counties since 1925.
On Oct. 1, 1921, in Aledo, Ill. he married Madge Edna Williams, who preceded him in death in 1971. He is survived by two sons, Albert J. Zurborg of Mountain View, Calif. and Carl E. Zurborg of Davenport; a daughter, Mrs. Lyle (Martha) D. Angier of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a number of nephews and nieces.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. His parents were Clem and Bernadine Zurborg.
