Funeral services for Mrs. Clara O. Kline, 55, will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Mrs. Kline, a resident of Alliance since the early 1930s, died Saturday morning in St. Joseph's Hospital. She had been in failing health the past few months. Mrs. Kline was born April 21, 1913, at Wisner and married Samuel Kline, Sr., in Alliance on June 1, 1934. He survives. Except for a couple of years they have lived here since, where he is the oldest employee of The Daily Times-Herald in point of service. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband of the home, 424 Potash, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gerald Goetzinger of Martin, S. D.; a son, Sam, Jr., of Gering; two brothers, William Leu of Lompoc Calif., and Dick Leu of Alliance; five sisters, Elsie Leu of Alliance, Anna Leu of Lompoc, Calif., Mrs. Brooks VanPelt of Englewood, Colo, Mrs. John Winters of Spalding, and Mrs. Richard Bowman, also of Alliance; and five grandchildren. The Rev. O. E. Krohn will officiate at the service and burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
