Final Rites For Alex Seydler, Sr., To Be Tomorrow
Funeral services for Mr.Alex Seydler,Sr.,71,who died,at 6:25 Wednesday evening at his home in Holman,will be held tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Hubbard Funeral Home,with the Rev.C. Emigholz officiating.Interment will be made in the Odd Fellow Cemetery.
Mr.Seydler had been ill for the past 8 months.He was born at High Hill in January,1870,the son of Mr. and Mrs.Herman Seydler.He followed farming as an occupation,and in 1893 he married Miss Ida Hartmann at Holman.A member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church,Mr.Seydler had spent practically all his life in the Holman section.
Surviving are a twin brother,Edwin Seydler of Weimar;seven sons Alfred and Otto of Houston;Curt of San Antonio;Alex,Jr.,Arthur and Albert of Holman and Hugo of Weimar;and two daughters,Olga and Martha of Holman.A brother,Albert Seydler,and a sister,Mrs.Ida Link,preceded him in death.
