Otto Seydler, Stroke Victim, Buried June 22

Funeral services for Otto Seydler,64,who died of a stroke at 9:30 p.m. June 29 in Youens Memorial Hospital were held Monday afternoon,June 22,at Hubbard Funeral Chapel with burial in Masonic [Odd Fellows] cemetery.

Rev.Robert N. Crawford officiated.

Mr.Seydler who had been partly disabled since suffering his first stroke 15 years ago,had had a series of them lately and had been in the hospital about two weeks.

A native of Holman,he was born Aug. 9,1905,a son of Alex and Ida Hartmann Seydler.He was employed by Herder Truck Lines at Houston for 28 years,until illness forced his retirement.He made his home here with his sister,Mrs.Martha Richards.

Surviving him are two brothers,Alex of Weimar and Arthur of Houston;and the sister,Mrs.Richards.Four brothers,Curt,Albert,Hugo and Alfred (Jack),and a sister,Miss Olga Seydler,preceded him in death.

Pallbearers were Eugene Seydler,Chas. (Buck) Bittner,Charlie Herder,Alvin Vornsand,Buddy Vornsand,and Harry Knebel,Jr.
