Loyd Pickens. Funeral for Loyd Pickens, 63, of 1813 E, will be a 1 p.m. Friday in Lawton, Ritter Dalton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Shipley, Pastor of Immanual Baptist Church, officiating.
Mr. Pickens died Wednesday following a lengthly illness. Burial will be in Elmore City Cemetery.
Mr. Pickens was born Jan. 23, 1921 in Elmore City. He married Bruce Fincher December 9, 1938 in Elmore City.
He had worked for Pepsi Cola and the City of Lawton.
Survivors include his wife of the home, two daughters: Janet Davis and Patty Chambers, both of Lawton; three sons: Joe, Lawton, Ricky, Enid, and Randy, Lawton: two brothers: Calvin, Elmore City, and Dude, Geronimo. Two sisters: Alice Priest, Marlow, and Neva Landers, Lawton. 13 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
