Funeral services for Dora E. Diedrichsen, 96, were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 5, 2007 at Zion Lutheran Church in Creighton. Pastor Matt Lahrs officiated with burial in greenwood Cemetery in Creighton.

She was born December 9, 1910 at Fort Collins, CO to John and Johanna (Gerdes) Rodiek. She attended country school near Wausa.

Dora married Harry F. Diedrichsen at Yankton, SD. She lived on the farm east of Creighton until entering the Creighton care Centre in December of 2005.

She died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital at Yankton. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one son, Harry L.; one grandson, three sisters and one brother.

Survivors include her daughter, Betty, and husband, Ray Oltenbruns of Creighton; sons and wives, Douglas and Betty of Omaha, Warren and Carol of Neligh, Tom and Joyce of Creighton; 17 grandchildren, *___ great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Marge of Gregory, SD; nieces and nephews.
