Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Bittner, nee Agnes Heimann, 81, long time resident of the county and of the city, who died suddenly at her home here last Saturday morning, where held from St. Mary’s church Tuesday morning. Burial was in St. Mary’s cemetery
Mrs. Bittner was born in the town of Charlestown, May 29, 1854. She was married to Frank Bittner in the town of Charlestown in November 1878. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in November 1928. The deceased was preceded in death by her husband in 1930
Survivors are three sons, Joe, John and Robert, all of Chilton; one daughter, Sister Armella of Notre Dame convent; one brother, Constant of Charlestown; 11 grandchildren.
Mrs. Bittner was a member of the Christian Mothers society of St. Mary’s church, which group attended the funeral in a body.
