JOSEPH BITTNER

Joseph Bittner, 57, Chilton, who was injured in a traffic accident at Chilton about noon on May 17, died of his injuries this morning in Appleton. Bittner was injured by a truck driven by John J. Steiner, Charlesburg, when the former was crossing an intersection. He suffered a skull fracture.

Bittner was born in the town of Chilton, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bittner, and lived in Chilton the last 20 years.He was married to Miss Anna Multer at St. Martin's church, Charlestown in August 1913.

Survivors are the widow, one son, Eugene; two brothers, John and Robert Bittner, Chilton and a sister, Sister Armella, Albertsville, Minn.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Church Chilton, with the Rev. H. E. Hunck in charge. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
