Mary Ann (Primus) Leukam
Mary A. (Primus) Leukam was born June 1, 1860 in Milwaukee, Wisc. She is the 4th of the eight children of John J. and Catherine (Nathe) Primus.
In 1862, when Mary was just 2 years old, the Primus family left Wisconsin and moved with her parents and 3 siblings to a farm northeast of Meire Grove...Section 17 in the township of Grove in Stearns County, Minn.
On April 29, 1880, Mary A. Primus married George Luekam at St. John's Church in Meire Grove, Minn.
The couple owned and operated a farm 2 miles east of Meire Grove, Minn - in the northeast corner of Section 17 in Grove Township, Minnesota. George and Mary's son, Joseph Leukam, owned and operated the farm across the road in Section 22 of Grove Township.
Mary and George Leukam had 7 children:
