She was a native of San Francisco, California. Florence moved to Napa with her family after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake living at her father's house most of the remainder of her life. She married Paul Bohen, Sr. and had two boys. They later divorced.
Florence was very artistic. She worked at Ratto and Crandell Furniture Store on Main Street in Napa as an interior decorator. She also made beautiful Christmas ornaments by hand, which were sold at Macy's in San Francisco.
She died on May 20, 1972, and is interred in the Tulocay Cemetery in the plot with her parents. She left behind a son, two grand-daughters, two brothers, a nephew, and a niece.
