Betty married Joe Schmidt on June 21, 1950, in Fort Collins. She spent most of her married life working with her husband on the family farm. They retired and lived in Fort Collins. She also worked for Dellenbach Motors. Betty
loved to dance, fish and work in her garden. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing. She also loved playing the organ and piano.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, three bothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her husband; two sons; her sister; and her two brothers; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Betty was also blessed with three stepgrandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
