He was born Aug. 8, 1913, to William and Katheryn Elizabeth (Erbes) Haas, Sr., in Denhoff, Russia.
On May 16, 1937, he married Pauline Schnorr. She died Dec 28, 1972. On Aug. 17, 1973, he married Emma Croissant Fahrebruch.
Mr. Haas was a farmer and had worked at the Great Western sugar factory for 24 years.
He was a founder of the Windsor Rangler Saddle Club and a member of Faith United Church of Christ in Windsor.
Survivors are his wife, Emma of Greeley; a daughter, Judith; two step-daughters, Elaine and Roxy; a son, Harland; a step-son, Bob; four sisters, Betty Schmidt, Ruth Schmidt, Elizabeth Greenwalt, and Katherine Miller; three brothers, Henry, Jake, and Edward; two grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Mary Jacoby Gettman and Helen Haas, and a brother William Jr., are deceased.
