Elizabeth (Haas) Greenwald, 84, died Thursday, August 7, 2003 at Poudre Valley Hospital.

She was born on September 18, 1918, to William and Catherine Elizabeth (Erbes) Haas in Windsor, Colorado

On December 15, 1938, she married David Greenwald in Windsor, Colorado. Together Liz and Dave farmed in both the Windsor and Fort Collins areas for some 40 years.

As well as being a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Elizabeth was a homemaker and hired hand. She loved crocheting and quilting. She left a special legacy of beautiful quilts for both family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Duane Davison of Greeley, grandson, Rex Davison and wife Kathryn of Sedgwick; granddaughter, Robin Davison of Canton, MO; great granddaughter, Jacki Davidson of Fort Collins; great grandson, Bradley Davidson of Sterling; two sisters, Ruth Schmidt of Timnath and Betty Schmidt of Fort Collins; two brothers, Jake Haas of Fort Collins and Edward Haas of Gillette, WY.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mary Jacoby, Katherine Miller and Helen Haas; and three brothers, Henry Haas, William Haas, Jr. and Phillip Haas.
