Mrs. Pefferman was born September 22, 1912 in Le Mars, the daughter of Fred and Mary (Euken) Osterbuhr.
She married Gilbert Pefferman on November 10, 1950 in Pender, NE. She was a homemaker and worked at the Akron Care Center for 22 years. The couple farmed in the Union Creek area for a number of years. They also worked as the janitors for Union Creek Lutheran Church for many years. Mr. Pefferman died August 3, 1964.
She was a member of Union Creek Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Dixie and Jim Madsen, Canon City, CO; a son and his wife, Gary and Bonnie Pefferman, Joplin, MO; a brother, Elmer Osterbuhr, Hawarden; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Otto Osterbuhr; and a sister, Martha Popken.

Services were held Friday, February 7 at Union Creek Lutheran Church, rural Akron, with the Rev. Steve Larson officiating. Burial was in Union Creek Lutheran Cemetery.
