Heinrich Korb, son of Gottlieb Korb and his wife, Margaretha, born Wiedmer (Wittmer), was born March 20, 1871 in Rohrbach, South Russia. In 1892 he came to this country and in 1899 he married Magdalena Wetzler. The Lord blessed this marriage with 8 children, one of whom preceded his father in death.

In 1901 he was converted and followed Jesus and was faithful in the Lord and the church until his death, which was April 1, 1920 in Omaha, Nebraska. His age was 49 years and 11 days. He left behind a grieving wife, 4 sons and 3 daughters, as well as a brother and a sister here in this country, and his parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters in Russia.

At the request of Mrs. Henry Korb the body was brought to Fairfax and the undersigned preached the sermon on Easter Sunday, April 4, 1920.

Heinrich was preceded in death by two brothers in the United States: Johannes Korb, Find a Grave Memorial 113183046, and Jacob Korb, Find a Grave Memorial 143363940. His surviving siblings in the US were his sister Katherine Korb Bier, Find a Grave Memorial 31450224, and half-brother Gottlieb Korb, Find a Grave Memorial 44255712.

Gottlieb and Heinrich H. Korb's parents were George Michael Korb (1811-1853) and Elisabeth Bacher (1816 -). George's parents were Heinrich and Salomea Korb.
