Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Catholic Church of the Nativity B.V.M. in Penelope with Rev. Isidore Rozycki as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, West.
Mrs. Ondrej was born July 19, 1905, near West. She lived in the West, Penelope and Abbott area all of her life. She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Nativity B.V. M.in Penelope and the SPJST Lodge 6 in Cottonwood.
She was married to August Ondrej in January 1925. He died March 16. 1978. She is also preceded in death by four sons: Ben Ondrej, John Ondrej, Stephen Ondrej and August Ondrej, Jr.; one daughter, Dorothy Vybiral.
Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Ondrej of Leroy and George Ondrej of Robinson; three daughters, Mrs. Ted (Evelyn) Pappas of Malone, Mrs. Jim (Mildred) Tooley of Burleson and Mrs. Mary Ann Jones of Dallas; three brothers, Felix Mynar of West, Joe Mynar an Ben Mynar, both of Abbott; five sisters, Mrs. Adele Sumbera of West, Mary Mikuda and Rosie Bartosh, both of Penelope, Mrs. Martha Hutyra of Elm Mott, and Hattie Kramer of San Diego, California; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Larry Ondrej, John Ondrej, Anthony Vybiral, Keith Tooley, Jason Ondrej, Lance Ondrej, Gregory Vybiral and Ernest Vybiral, Jr.
