GREEN VALLEY - Clara M. Friedrich, 89, of Green Valley died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1993, at Pekin Manor.

Born June 1, 1904, in Belgium to August and Erma Leers DeSutter, she married Henry G. Friedrich on March 30, 1932, in Green Valley. He died in April 1984. Two sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, Lewis of Green Valley; three sisters, Mabel Ritchie of Manito, Bertha Tassart of Pekin and Ervina McPhail of Mount Sterling; four brothers, Louie, Charles, Frank and John DeSutter, all of Manito; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Sand Prairie and its Epiphany Society. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at her church. The Rev. Marvin Hinkle will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Maas Funeral Home in Manito and one hour before services in the church. Burial will be in the Sand Prairie Cemetery, Green Valley.

Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Day Care Center in Pekin.
