State Journal-Register, The (Springfield, IL) November 19, 2002 SPRINGFIELD Louis P. DeSutter, 91, of Springfield, formerly of Manito, died Nov. 18, 2002, at Sangamon Care Center. He was born Feb. 2, 1911, in Mason County, the son of August and Erma Leers DeSutter. He married Dora Ritchie in 1936. Mr. DeSutter retired as a farmer in 1972. He was a member of the Manito United Methodist Church. Survivors: wife, Dora; daughter, Sylvia (husband, Roy) Campbell of Springfield; two grand-daughters; one great-grandson; a sister, Ervina McPhail of Timewell; and two brothers, John and Charlie DeSutter, both of Manito. Graveside services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Glendale Memorial Gardens, Pekin. Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
