MANITO, IL - Betty Lou Palmer, 64, of 225 Sheridan St., was pronounced dead at 3:52 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 1993, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident at U.S. Route 24 and Illinois Route 9.

Born Dec. 19, 1928, in Manito to August and Erma Leers DeSutter, she married Clarence Palmer on Jan. 11, 1947, in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Ronald and Donald, and four brothers, John, Louis, Charles and Frank DeSutter, all of Manito; four sisters, Clara Freidrich of Green Valley, Bertha Tassart of Pekin, Ervina McPhail of Mount Sterling and Mabel Ritchie of Manito; and three grandchildren.

Two sons, one sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

Burial will be in Meadow Lawn Cemetery.
