Peter Moritz, retired farmer, died at his home in Highland township Thursday evening at 6:15 from a complication of diseases. He was aged 82 years, 10 months and 22 days.
He is survived by his wife and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Harvey Cluck, Gettysburg; Mrs. William Rebert, Gettysburg; Mrs. William Slonaker, York; Charles Moritz, Ohio; Walter Moritz, Idaville; Harvey Moritz, of York; Jacob Moritz, Orrtanna; Clayton Moritz, Shiloh, Ohio; Mrs. William Stoops, Idaville, and Calvin Moritz, at home. Thirty-six grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services from his late home Sunday afternoon at 2:00, conducted by the Rev. W. C. Pugh, of Fairfield. Interment at Flohr’s church.
