Frank (Franz) Nadler ( son of Joseph Nadler and Anna Riedl)was born 8/15/1853 in Bohemia, Germany, and died 9/29/1934 in Kloten WI. He married Anna M. Reinl on 5/30/1876 in Kloten, WI,daughter of Anton Reinl and Anna Maria Denk.

Frank Nadler, 81, died at his home in this city Saturday morning Sept. 29, as the result of a complications of ailments. He had been confined to his bed but ten days.

Mr. Nadler was born in Germany, Aug. 15, 1853, and at the age of 18 months came with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nadler to the United States. They family settled on a farm in Marytown. Mr. Nadler married Miss Anna Reinl May 10, 1875, at Charlesburg, and lived for a few years on the farm in Marytown before purchasing the farm known as the Frank Nadler homestead in the town of Stockbridge where they lived until 1908, when their son, Anton Nadler, took over the farm and Mr. and Mrs. Nadler retired and came to this city. They purchased the home at 182 Jefferson Street where they have since resided. On May 10, 1925, Mr. and Mrs. Nadler celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.

Mr. Nadler is survived by his wife and six children; Miss Lucy Nadler at home; Anton Nadler, town of Stockbridge; Mrs. John Popp, St. John; Mrs. Philip Nett, Sherwood; Mrs. John Hemauer of Stockbridge; and Mrs. Anna Dietz, Chilton; one granddaughter, Miss Kathleen Nadler, whose mother died when Kathleen was but five weeks old, and she was taken by Mr. and Mrs. Nadler into their home and reared as their own child. Mr. Nadler is also survived by forty-seven other grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Three other children, Mrs. Jos. Portman, Mrs. Frank Zitzelsberger and Joseph Nadler preceded him in death.

The funeral was held Tuesday from St. Mary’s church with a solemn requiem high mass celebrated by Rev. A. J. Reinl, of Elkhart Lake, a nephew, assisted by Rev. H. E. Hunck, deacon, and Rev. F. M. McKeogh, sub-deacon. Burial was in St. Mary’s cemetery. The pallbearers were six grandsons; Herman Nett, Emanuel Nadler, Joseph Popp, Joseph Hemauer, William Nadler and Alfred Hemauer.
