Born in Arenfeldt, Russia June 19, 1854, Mrs. Rein came to this country a number of years ago. The family home was in Center township, 10 1/2 miles southeast of Russell, until 18 years ago, when she and Mr. Rein moved to town to make their home for the remainder of their lives. Mr. Rein died January 1, 1936.
In her immediate family Mrs. Rein leaves seven children, they are - Mrs. Jacob Karst, Galatia; George Rein, Jr., Russell; Mrs. Emanuel Keil, Galatia; Mrs. Henry Milberger, Russell; Henry Rein, Russell; Mrs. Robert A. Dumler, Russell, and Ben Rein, Russell.
The Rev. William H. Jenkin and the Rev. William Berg are officiating at the service and burial will be in the Russial Cemetery. Pallbearers are five grandsons and one nephew. They are Hubert Karst, Robert Karst, Elmer Rein, Edwin Rein, Franklin Rein and Edward Morgenstern.
