Born in Dreidorf, Kries Wirsitz, Prussia to Daniel and Karoline (Zierke) Werner and baptized in Lobsen (now Lobzenica) Parish she died three days later. Two other young siblings: Friedrich Wilhelm and Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Werner also died. The cholera epidemics of 1847 to 1849, and 1855, could have caused their young deaths.
