Helen Henrietta Stallbaumer Boeckman died on Thursday, May 16, 1985 at a Marysville, Ks. hospital. She was 88 years old. She was born July 14, 1896, the daughter of John Martin and Louise Scheier Stallbaumer, on a farm near Seneca, and grew up in the Kelly, Ks. area.
She married Joseph Boeckman on February 14, 1917, at Kelly. They were the parents of 8 children. At the time of her death she had 40 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Helen & Joseph moved to the Lillis area in 1922, and operated a farm there until November, 1960, when they moved to Frankfort, Ks.
She was buried in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Lillis, KS.
