Alexander Philip Bellindir, 93, of 225 Clark died Sunday, Oct. 19, 1986 at a Sterling nursing home.

Rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Tuesday at Tennant-Hettinger Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday from St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the Rev. Robert Reycraft the celebrant. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Bellindir was born Nov. 9, 1892 in Gabel, Russia, the son of Anthony and Gertude Hafner Bellindir and came to this country April 29, 1913 settling in Logan County in May 1913

He married Susan Monheiser Dec. 29, 1915 and the couple farmed in area from 1934 until retiring in 1961 and moved to Sterling.

He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Bellindir is survived by his wife, Susan Bellindir of Sterling; 13 sons, Anthony Bellindir and John Bellindir, both of Northglenn, Alex Bellindir of Mason City, Iowa, Jake Bellindir, Pete Bellindir, George Bellindir, Adam Bellindir, Joe Bellindir, Philip Bellindir, Lawrence Bellindir and Robert Bellindir, all of Sterling, and Andrew Bellindir of Iliff, and Steven Bellindir of Longmont; three daughters, Mary Loos and Catherine Bellindir, both of Sterling, and Anna Fowler of Northglenn; 73 grandchildren and 72 great-grandchildren.
