He later married Rosalie BAUER on June 6, 1936. He is survived by his wife Rosalie of 67 years; seven children, Violet and Don Colson, Larry C. Schnell and special friend, Shirley Reif and Harvey and Bev Schnell, all of Alliance, Mardella and George McFall of Lakeside, Rosemary and Dave Woods of Manhattan, Kan., and Roger and Dorothy Schnell and Connie and Jim Engelhaupt, also of Alliance; 23 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; brother Pete Schnell of Alliance; sisters, Mary Heins of Brush, Colo., Eva Merrigan of Scottsbluff; half brothers, John Schnell, Edward Schnell and Robert Schnell, all of Florida; and half sisters, Judy Jenkins of Canada, and Ruth Todd and Alvina Schnell, both of Florida. His parents; first wife Emma; one son; one daughter; one great-grandson; and five brothers preceded him in death.
