Services for Hiram W Fricke, 75, rural Tama, who died Saturday at his home, will be Wednesday at the St John's Lutheran Church, rural Tama. The Rev Marcia Hall will officiate and burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, State Center.

Mr Fricke was born September 12, 1909 at State Center to Frederick and Elizabeth Wolken Fricke. He spent his early childhood and received his education in State Center. On August 3, 1935 at State Center he married Leona M Muschick of Zearing. They farmed at State Center until 1947 when they moved southwest of Tama.

He continued to farm until retiring in the early 1970's but remained on the farm.

He was a member of St John's Lutheran Church, rural Tama.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1958, two granddaughters, two brothers and a sister.

Survivors include three sons, Richard of Gilman, Walter of Marshalltown and Ronald of Loveland, Colorado; 15 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a foster son, Kenneth Wilson of Columbia, Ohio; six sisters, Renetta (Mrs John) Jacobs, Melbourne; Ida (Mrs Clarence) Frohwein, Pheobe (Mrs Harley) Schuler, Marie (Mrs Ervin) Eggers, Laura (Mrs Ernest) Nehring, Inez (Mrs Cleve) Badger, all of State Center; three brothers, Fred of Baxter, Elmer of Marshalltown and Kenneth of Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
