Gabriel Wagner, life long resident of the neighborhood of Perrysville died Friday morning, following long illness from paralysis. For the past four years be had been confined to his bed. Mr. Wagner was nearly 80 years of age, born and ever living in the community wherein he died. Farming and blacksmithing had ever been his occupation, with his active work on the farm he ever maintaining a smithing shop. with his farm work he ever took a pride in sheep and their care. He was a member of the Slates Lutheran Church and a splendid man and neighbor. His wife was Miss Barbara Heidy, who with two children, William Wagner and Mrs. Edward Laughridge, both residing on the home farm, survive. Of his parental family, one of fourteen children, one brother, the venerable Aaron Wagner of Carrollton, is the only surviving member. Funeral service was conducted Sunday from the home, burial being made in Perrysville cemetery.
