Fond du Lac Reporter, Fri. Mar. 14, 1986, p. 24. Friends of Mrs. Ida B. Wuest, 92, formerly of 303 Lloyd St., may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home and at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The Rev. Edward Sippel will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Wuest died Thurs., Mar. 13, 1986, at Americana Healthcare Center, where she had resided for the past three years. She was born on Sept. 23, 1893, in Mt. Calvary, to Anton and Agnes Hartogh Schmitz. On June 18, 1914, she was married to Louis J. Wuest at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mt. Calvary. He died on Aug. 11, 1971. Mrs. Wuest was a member of St. Patrick's Church. She farmed in the Town of Forest until 1943 when she and her husband moved to Fond du Lac. She was employed at the Hotel Retlaw as a baker until her retirement. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Ray (Lyda) Sippel of Fond du Lac; two granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wuest was under the care of her granddaughter, Mrs. Hubert (Sharon) King of Fond du Lac for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband; two daughters; six sisters and three brothers.
