Anders got ten children together with his wife Matilda. All ten children became adults and married. Their lives developed in different directions but were kept together by their common commitment to Christian Free Churches.
In the spring of 1902 Anders died at Skrantås, 66 years old. He died due to heart failure and water in his lungs. Where he was buried is unknown but probably in Hidinge.
