Bob is survived by his wife, Wilma Purrington Kissner; two sons: Duane & Terry Kissner of Kenyon MN; Jerry & Nancy Kissner of Lamberton MN; two daughters: Julie Mitchell of Phoenix AZ, and Carol Kissner & Claude Buettner of Eden Prairie MN. He is also survived by a sister, Viola Kissner Reif of Bismarck ND. He is survived by seven grandchildren Adam (Megan) Mitchell, Sarah (Mike) Berg, Joe (Amber) Kissner, Molly Kissner, Nichole (Scott) Price, Tyler (Angie) Kissner and Wade Kissner. There are five great-grandchildren: Lauren, Lukas and Leah Berg, Alison and Abigail Mitchell.
Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Marie in 1943, his sisters Melba Tlam, Agonia Borchardt, Luella Matzke, and one brother, Ted.
Bob was an active member of the EUB church in Germantown Township, and later attended the Methodist church at Jeffers MN. He loved singing in the quartet, horseshoes and he never stopped marveling at the wonder of the natural world.
Interment will be in the Lamberton Cemetery. To honor the wishes of the deceased the family will have a private service at the cemetery
