Gerhard Emil Gilbertson, age 87, died, Saturday, Nov 17, 1979 at Tweeten Memorial Hospital in Spring Grove. He was the son of Gustav T. Gilbertson and Addie (Benson) Gilbertson. He married Olga Mathilda Kinneberg on Oct 16, 1917. Gerhard and Olga had no children. Gerhard was a retired farmer and served as a deacon of Trinity Lutheran Church and served on the board of the Spring Grove Creamery. Survived by his wife; one brother, Henry; one sister, Anna. Preceded in death by his five brothers, Timan, Clarence, Peter, Oscar, Willie. Funeral services took place at Trinity Lutheran in Spring Grove on Monday, Nov 19, 1979 with Reverend Kenneth Knutson and William Davis officiating. Burial was at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Spring Grove.
