Hilda L. Michel, 82, died Monday, Feb. 5, at Osborne Co. Memorial Hospital in Osborne. She was born May 6, 1913, at Russell. Her parents were Mr. And Mrs. Rein. She was married to John Michel in 1935. He died April 12, 1965. She was a housewife, and a member of Downs Methodist Church in Downs.
She is survived by three sons, Lawrence Michel of Downs; Bob Michel of Osborne; and Jerry Michel of Orleans, NE; three daughters, Jane Monk of Olathe; Sarah Richardson of Salina; and Betty Wolters of Portis; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; and 2 step-gt. grandchildren; two brothers, Alvin Rein of Russell; and Leon Rein of Grand Juncion, CO; four sisters, Marie Ford, Russell; Luella Rein of Lucas; Helen Lockyear of Junction City; and Dorlene Woodson of San Diego, CA.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thurs. at Downs Methodist Church, with Revs. Harry Cross, Brent Clayton and Robert Juday officiating. Burial will be in the Russell City Cemetery. Clark-Gashaw Mortuary of Osborne is in charge. Memorials to American Diabetes Assoc
