EDINA, Mo. — Miss Ruth Marguerite Schlepphorst, 72, of Edina, died at 3:03 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 18, 1986) in Twin Pines Adult Care Center in Kirksville, where she had been a patient since Dec. 24.
Miss Schlepphorst was born in Edina Dec. 4, 1913, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Zurborg Schlepphorst. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Edina and Gem City Business College in Quincy, Ill.
Miss Schlepphorst was employed as a secretary most of her life and was employed many years by Irwin Paper Co. in Quincy. She returned to Edina in 1964 as secretary of the former Cornelius Implement Co., retiring in 1978.
Surviving are a brother, Paul Schlepphorst of Trenton; and two sisters, Florence Schlepphorst and Mrs. John (Bernadine) Haddick, both of Edina.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edina by the Rev. Hugh Behan. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
The Kriegshauser Funeral Home at Edina is handling arrangements.
