Paul Schlepphorst

Paul R. Schlepphorst, 83, of Trenton and formerly of Edina died Saturday morning at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.

He was born June 25, 1910 in Edina, the son of John and Elizabeth (Zurborg) Schlepphorst. In 1942 at Meadville, he married Nancy Evans, who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death were one son, Paul Walter Schlepphorst; three sisters, Ruth, Clara and Mary Schlepphorst; and two brothers, John and Lawrence Schlepphorst.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Bernadine Haddick of Edina and Miss Florence Schlepphorst of Edina.

He worked in construction and for 15 years he was with Borg Incorporated in Chicago and was half-owner of the company. He moved to Grundy in 1958 and then to Trenton in 1965. He retired in 1967. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Edina.

Mass of Christian burial will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday (November 2, 1993) at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edina, Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Edina. Slater Funeral Home in Trenton will be in charge of arrangements.
