He was the first child of Eli Samuel Wheeler and Rosa Elena Galice. At birth he had deep blue eyes, very fair golden hair and a small nose.

On May 25, 1905, he was baptized at the Parish of Venado Tuerto, Province of Santa Fe, Argentina: being his godparents, Wallace Wheeler, native of Argentina, aged 21, residing in Rosario and Mrs. Amelia Galice, native of Chile, aged 23, residing at Cafferata.

On May 26, 1932, at the parish of Chañar Ladeado, Province of Santa Fe, Argentina, he got married, aged 27, agrarian producer by trade, residing at Cafferata, with Josefa María Priotti, aged 22, native of Argentina, single, lawful daughter of Felipe Priotti and of Maddalena Giuseppina Maria Pron, both Italian and residing at Cafferata; being the witnesses to the ceremony: Alfredo Priotti and Rosa Wheeler, née Galice.

The couple had two children and at some point they moved away to the City of Buenos Aires where he started working as Inspector for the 'Junta Nacional de Carnes' (National Meat Board) where my father, his brother-in-law, also worked for.
