Eduardo, the ninth child of Joseph Whilding Wheeler and Isabella Gilmore, was baptized in the year 1926, at the Methodist Church of Venado Tuerto, Province of Santa Fe, Argentina; being his godparents: Alberto Eduardo Perkin and Alicia Reneé Young, nee Galice.

On July 22, 1926, in the City of Rosario, Province of Santa Fe, he got married, bachelor, employee, residing in the said city, with Delia Lopez, native of Argentina, single, employee by occupation, born on May 6, 1927 and residing in the said city as well, daughter of Antonino Lopez, aged 52, printer by trade and of Basilica Sauqué, a housewife, both native of Spain; being their witnesses to the ceremony: Antonio Lopez and Wallace Woodbine Whilding Wheeler, aged 67 and residing in the same city alluded to before.

A short poem by Eduardo Edsel Wheeler, extracted from his book: 'Introduction to Haiku'
(Tentative translation from Spanish into English)
There are dinner guests who empty out their souls to fill up badly.
A book is the best friend if you choose well
Behind the high wall, the rose sleeps on the tomb.
Matinal breeze, your whirling around in the garden are my sighs.
I gazed at the flower and in each petal I saw the Universe
Fireflies intermittently give light on their way
Beating of wings, in the chalice of the flower, honey from the beehive
The swans in black neck seem rushes in the lake
Silver threads on a silent night weave my dreams
Drink with joy out of the cistern that was given to you
Would it not be that by excess of synthesis the moon is hidden?
Priceless pearl, in the depth of the sea, sleeps your dream

He died aged 85, at Granadero Baigorria, Rosario Department, Province of Santa Fe, Argentina.

His siblings are: Federico Alberto, Eva Violeta Amelia, Percy Cyril, Cecil Ralph, *Cecilio, Rosa Elena, Hilda Haydée, Celina 'Elsie' and (*died at a short age)
