On March 24, 1934, at a private home, located in Venado Tuerto, Santa Fe, Argentina, Eduardo Rodriguez, curate in charge of the Inmaculada Conception's Church, solemnized the union between Miss Hilda Haydee Wheeler, aged 20 years and Mister Claudio Lionel Huhn, aged 25 years, son of Eduard Huhn and Cecilia Hegarty.
They resided for a couple of years at 'La Loma', a property her father-in-law had it built for them out in the country.
Then they rented a house downtown for a short time till they decided to move away about 1944, to The Forestal Land, Timber and Railways Company Limited (known as La Forestal), located in the actual Province of Chaco.
They had four children - (Cecilia Elena, died at a very short age and Elsie Agnes already deceased)
Hilda remained a widow with three children, when she was very young. She then started studying drawing and painting with Marta Grinberg, a disciple of Juan Batle Planas and had her first art-exhibition at the Lirolay Gallery, Buenos Aires, Argentina. In time she also gave lessons of painting and had her own private pupils.
She loved travelling all over: Brazil, Norway, Nigeria, Colombia, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, and so on.
