Peter H. Menne Of Kiel Is Called To Rest Sunday. Kiel. -Peter H. Menne, 35, passed away at his home here Sunday at 5:50 p.m., after having been ill for the past several months.
Mr. Menne was born on a farm in Town Rhine on March 14, 1898 and at the age of eight years, he came to Kiel with his parents. From the time he was graduated from Kiel High school in 1916 until last November, Mr. Menne was a bookkeeper in the Kiel Cold Storage plant at Kiel. His marriage to Miss Rose Schnell of Kiel took place on Nov. 19, 1918.
Besides his wife, Mr. Menne is survived by a daughter and two sons; Grace aged 14; Ralph aged 2 and Gerald aged 10 months; his mother, Mrs. Philip Menne; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Klauck and the Misses Anna and Hilda Menne, all of Kiel and his grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Becker, Elkhart Lake. Two children died in infancy.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from the Menne home, 726 Milwaukee street, and at 9:30 o'clock from St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic church. The Rev. J.J. Esdepsky will officiate and burial will be made in the Catholic cemetery near Kiel.
