Math N. Abler, 56, lifelong resident of Mt. Calvary, a barber for 37 years, died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. He had been in ailing health for six months.

Born Nov. 25, 1884, he was married Nov. 21, 1905 to Miss Anna Bleuel. Mr. Abler served as treasurer for the Town of Marshfield for eight years. He was a member of the Holy Name society.

Surviving are his widow; 11 daughters and sons, Mrs. Ernest Mertens, Mrs. Edmund Wagner, Lawrence Abler of this city, Herbert of Chicago, Ambrose of Milwaukee, Alex of West Salem, Ralph of Detroit and Norman, Harold, Genevieve and Patricia at home; three grandchildren, three brothers, Joseph and Jacob Abler of Mt. Calvary and Michael of St. Cloud and a sister, Mrs. John Koenigs of Mt. Calvary. A daughter, Mrs. Alex Casper, died Feb. 27, 1940.

Funeral services will be held at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday from the residence, and at 10 a.m. from Holy Cross church in Mt. Calvary with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Nicholas Brandt, O.M. Cap., will officiate.

Funeral services for Math N. Abler of Mt. Calvary who died Saturday, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross church, Mt. Calvary, with the Rev. Nicholas Brandt O.F.M. Cap., officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Men's choir, of which Mr. Abler was a former member, sang the mass. members of the Holy Name society attended in a body.

Nick Schmitz served as cross bearer. Honorary pallbearers were Herman Diederichs, Anton Neis, Arthur Vogel, Math Rieder, Leo Wagner and Raymond Schrage, while Richard Abler, Aquilin Abler, Francis Mannenbach, Hermenegild Bleuel, Elmer Braun and Leander Koenigs were active bearers.

Among those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Abler of Milwaukee, Herbert Abler of Chicago, Alex Abler of West Salem, Ralph Abler of Detroit and many from Fond du Lac and surrounding places.
