He was born Nov. 4, 1918, in Mt. Calvary, to Matt and Anna Bleuel Abler. He married Germaine Holzmann in June of 1943. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Charmaine Mirasola and her husband Santo; one son, Paul and his wife Barbara; four granddaughters, Lisa, Michelle, Gina, and Cynthia; and one grandson, Steven; four sisters, Lucy Merton and her husband Ernest, Cordulla Wagner and her husband Eddie, Genny and Patricia Abler; and one brother, Lawrence. Preceding him in death were four brothers, Norman, Herbert, Alex, Harold and Ambrose; and one sister, Camilla. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Jelacic Funeral Home, 5639 W. Hampton Ave., Milwaukee, and at 10 a.m. at Mother of Perpetual Help Church. Entombment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.
