Louise Paukert, 90, homemaker, was called home to her Lord Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at her home. Funeral: 10am Tuesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 7pm Monday at Mount Olivet Chapel. Memorials: Expressions of sympathy can be made to Christian Connections at St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Louise was born September 17, 1910, in Artesian South Dakota. She had lived in Fort Worth since 1955. She was a former school teacher in South Dakota and Minnesota. She was an avid bridge and game player. Louise was a longtime member of St. Rita's Catholic Church and was currently a member of St. Michael's. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Harold Paukert in 1992. Her strength and loving ways will be deeply missed.

Survivors: Sons, Thomas and wife, Sheryle Paukert, Napa, California; James and wife, Judy Paukert, San Antonio; Kenneth and wife, Sharon Paukert, Rowlett; daughters, Teresa and husband, Wayne Goodling, South Bend, Indiana; Janice and husband, Dean Howell of Springtown; brother, George Meyer, West Concord, Minnesota; sisters, Dorothy Bruns, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Edith Barger, Chamberlain, South Dakota; grandchildren, Sybil, Martin, Amelia, Ellie, Zachary and Stephen Paukert, Mathew and Rachel Goodling, and Jennifer Bepko.
