GIBSON CITY — Wilhelmina B. Parker, 85, of Gibson City, a retired teacher, died at 9:05 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 10, 1989) at the Heartland Health Care Center, Paxton.

Her funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, the Rev. Laurence Sunkel officiating. Burial will be in Kempton-Hill Cemetery, Kempton. Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born May 20, 1904, in Anchor, a daughter of Henry and Wilhelmina Frahm Brandt. She married Wesley J. Parker June 5, 1932, in Kempton. He died Jan. 21, 1968.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews. Seven brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Anchor, and attended the First Presbyterian Church, Gibson City. She was a member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class at the First Presbyterian Church, Gibson City, Retired Teachers Association, Gibson City Senior Citizens, Ford County Historical Society, Guthrie Community Club and the Gibson City Senior Women's Club.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
