Miss Elsie Brandt, 78, died Tuesday at Cole Hospital, Champaign.
Her funeral was held Friday at the St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor, the Rev. Alexander Youck officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Miss Brandt was born Feb. 16, 1890, near Anchor, a daughter of Henry and Wilhelmina Frahm Brandt.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Swaim, Rantoul; and Mrs. Wilhelmina Parker, Danforth; and a brother, August, Gibson City.
She was a member of St. John's Church, Dorcas Society of the church, Gibson City Garden Club. Miss Brandt was a lifetime Anchor resident until moving to Gibson City five years ago. S
erving as pallbearers were Leon Brandt, Duane Shields, Wallace Brandt, Aaron Zehr, Edmund Brandt and Herman Christensen.
