Albert Brandt Dies After Heart Attack

Albert Brandt, 65, died at Gibson Community Hospital at 3 p. m. Tuesday.

He had suffered a heart attack Monday afternoon while operating a tractor-disc outfit on the Eldon Christensen farm.

His funeral will be at 1:30 p. m. Saturday at the Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City and at 2 p. m. at St. John's Lutheran Church near Anchor, with the Rex. Alexander Youck officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Brandt was born Dec. 16, 1891, in Anchor Township, a son of Heinrich and Margaretha Wilhalmina Frahm Martin Brandt and lived in the Anchor area all his life.

He was a veteran of World War I and a member of St. John's, Church.

Surviving are three sisters, Miss Elsie, Anchor; Mrs. Vernon Swaim, Rantoul; Mrs. Wesley Parker, Danforth; four brotbers, John, Golconda; Louis, Colfax; August and Herman, Anchor.

His parents, two brothers and an infant sister preceded him in death.
