His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church near Anchor, the Rev. Alexander Youck officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation is after 2 p.m. Monday at the Lamb Funeral Home at Gibson City.
He was born Jan. 3, 1884, near Anchor, a son of Henry and Minnie Frahm Brandt.
He lived at Anchor until moving to Golconda ten years ago.
He is survived by a brother, August, Gibson City, and three sisters, Miss Elsie Brandt, Gibson City; Mrs. Amanda Swaim, Rantoul, and Mrs. Wilhelmina Parker, Danforth.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church.
