Clara Karst Eacret, 84, died Feb. 2 at St. John's of Victoria Nursing Facility. She was born Oct. 10, 1916, in Russell, the daughter of Jacob J. and Mollie Keil Karst.
She married Charles Eacret June 17, 1952. He died July 23, 1994.
A resident of Russell, she was a waitress for many years.
Survivors include two sons, Don Parker and Dean Parker, both of Arab, Ala.; one brother, Herbert Karst of Newton; four sisters, Martha Brack, Elsie Brack, Elma Morgenstern and Esther Scheuerman, all of Russell; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pohlman's Mortuary in Russell with the Rev. Keith Kreitzer officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to St. John's of Victoria Nursing Facility, in care of the mortuary.
