Elma Karst Schneider Morgenstern went to the Lord, Wed. July 9, at the age of 91. At the time of her death, she was a resident of Delmar Gardens in Lenexa, KS.

She was a native of Russell, KS, and was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Adam and Harry; brothers Albert and Paul Karst; and sisters Clara, Martha, Elsie, Esther and Doris. Her brother, Herb, of Newton, KS, survives. Beloved mother of her son, August "Gus" Schneider and his wife, Barbara, she also had four grandchildren in the K.C. area; Page Clayton, Piper Palmer, Betsy Schwartze and their families and grandson David Stuckey and his family in Los Angeles.

She so enjoyed cooking for them and her eight gt. grandchildren, as well as all others who entered her home over the years. Kind and loving, with a gentle heart, she could be spunky and determined, as well. Always a great confidant and friend, Elma will be missed by all.

Her wishes at the end, as in life, was a "no fuss" attitude; therefore, there will be no formal services, other than an intimate gathering at Delmar Gardens for the many friends and staff who grew to love her during her six years there. A "remembering the good times" dinner for the family, at her son's home, will be held as well.
