MARY ETHEL HOWARD, 91, of Route 3, Owensboro, died Thursday, March 14, 1985, at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. She was born in Daviess County, was a housewife, and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Sherman A. Howard; five daughters, Elizabeth Chissom and Rosalia Harper, both of Utica, Margaret Mattingly and Bea Wooldridge, both of Owensboro, and Rita Pisano of Staten Island, N.Y.; 30 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Proctor Knott of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews. Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Browns Valley. Burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today.
